When designing the maldives cardi, we were inspired by the classic Chanel jacket featured in 2025 spring collection, its structure, its volume, and fabric quality.
This jacket has no buttons and the fit is simple and defined by very clear straight lines. The knitting is tight and chunky by holding 2 strands of yarn as to resemble the characteristic bulky fabric of this type of garments.
This pattern is easy to follow and perfect for beginners and inexperienced knitters alike. At this gauge, this is a really quick knit!

large/ clarge: finished size: 46” chest circumference and 21” lenght
Difficulty: Easy (knit, decrease and pinking up sts)
